Healing Touch is an energy healing therapy that is gentle and non-invasive. It involves light hand placements on and off the body to help restore and balance energy that has been depleted due
to mental or emotional stress, trauma, illness, injury, surgery or medical treatments.

 

Healing Touch is not massage. There is no physical manipulation, pressure or stroking involved
and the client remains fully clothed. The goal of Healing Touch is to restore harmony and balance
to enable the body’s innate tendency for healing to occur.  This can be done remotely as well.

 

Releasing blocked energy from our bodies is a vital part of cultivating good health and well-being.
But discharging the holding from our bodies is a vital step in the process that is very often overlooked. This is the work that I do through Healing Touch combined with other modalities.
As old energy is discharged, your body will feel freer, healthier and more vibrant.  Releasing trapped feelings and energy from the body, releases an old pattern and makes room for new pathways to be created and for you to be more present in the “Now” of your life.

how to handle the effects of certain types of people and environmental energies.

 

Trauma / PTSD 

Our bodies remember every one of our life experiences--joyful experiences, happy moments in time. However, they also remember the less joyful times, the trauma of a car crash, loss over a loved one

or grief over a death in the family. Our bodies; physical and energetic, remember these things because each of us is made up of complex matrix or mental, emotional, physical and spiritual histories.  
 

Ideally,  when trauma or deep feelings affect us, we experience and assimilate those feelings, and then discharge and release the energy. We are very resilient creatures.  However, we often don’t address the experience when it happens or don’t have the tools to do so, and then we may  suppress and block the flow of energy and bury the memory and the feelings. The vibration of the trauma then becomes embedded into our bodies and woven into our fascia, muscles, joints, and organs.

 

These blocked feelings of guilt, shame, pain, and fear become the tensions in our bodies, the illnesses and diseases. I use a somatic approach through Healing Touch to work through with the effects of trauma on and within the body. 

 

Imagery and Visualization for Healing 

I offer guidance using imagery and visualization techniques for healing in order to address compassion fatigue, health issues and life transitions.

 

Health Kinesiology

Health Kinesiology is a holistic energy based therapy to bring about health, balance and well-being.  With Healing Kinesiology, muscle testing and energy balancing techniques, we work as partners to determine what your stressors are, what the source might be and the best way to correct the imbalance.  Stress and imbalance in the human body system can be caused by many experiences including physical injury, surgery, psychological stress, trauma and allergies.

Emotional Freedom Techniques

This is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It's also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure. Tapping the body on acupressure points creates a balance in your energy system and treats pain. I offer EFT to reduce anxiety, stress, ptsd and depression as well. 

Pre/Post Surgery Preparation

I use meditation and guided imagery to promote successful surgery, post-op recovery, decreased anxiety before surgery, faster healing process and 25-50% less pain medication needed.  NYU & Harvard approved. Trained and certified by Peggy Huddleston.

 

Bach Flower Remedies

Bach Flower Remedies are an alternative or complementary treatment used for emotional problems and pain. They're made out of watered-down extracts from the flowers of wild plants. Edward Bach, a medical doctor and homeopath, created these remedies in the early 1900s.  I was trained in Bach Flower Remedies over a three year period at a medical clinic in Mexico.
